2007.01.10 01.14 PCC and whatnot Analysis and Evaluation of Argument The teacher rocks and the course seems like its going to be a lot of fun. Discussion based class with a lot of intriguing different topics. "This class is going to teach you the difference between an argument and bullshit." Writing 121 I've got a friend in the class. The room is cramped as shit. Teacher seems cool. Somewhat heavy work load, but its writing so I can do it. Reading 115 I've got another friend in the class. The room is even more cramped as shit. The teacher is weird and the class seems pointless, the only good I see is increasing my WPM (reading speed). History 102 Same teacher as I had last term, I have a couple friends in the class. Easy shit. |

2006.10.21 00.22 Its Been A Long Time So I rarely use livejournal anymore. Go figure, you'd think I'd have some use for it other than checking WWE communities and seeing what David and Jim are up to recently. Well heres what makes my journal a journal, this is what I've been doing: Lately, I've felt like shit. I determined that it was my lonliness mixed with the oh so shitty weather. It always seems to get me in a downed mood when its raining and not a piece of blue sky in sight. I've been working 20 hours a week at Big Town Hero, I'll have been there a year on December 4th. How exciting is that? School is going alright, I have mid terms in 2 weeks and I think I'll be fine. Maybe not. Im really not sure at this point. FNT is still going strong. I love my friends. 2006.09.25 09.01 If There Was Ever A Time For An Update... It would be today. My first day of college. How cute. I had math from 7:20-8:50 (we got out early today) and it was a lot like highschool. Cept I knew more people. The math teacher reminds me A LOT of David's dad. Luckily, I have a friend in the class with me. And theres this other cool chick I talked to for a bit. |

2006.09.19 09.40 Luke Glenn I cant believe the news today. I cant close my eyes, and make it go away. Three days after I found out about Luke's tradgic death, the words still echo across my mind. "You know Luke Glenn? He's dead." It seems to be all that us Tigard kids can think of right now. Learning more and more details slowly turn this horrible event into something that just makes me want to curse in anger. This is the most blatant and unneeded use of excessive force I have ever heard of. Luke was very obviously under the influence and upset. He was outside his house in his neighborhood. Drunk and threatening to kill himself, his parents didnt know what to do to calm him down. They called his best friend and they talked for awhile, but even then it didnt work. So they called police, hoping for professional help. Officers arrived guns drawn and started yelling at him. They fired bean bag rounds into him, several at that. He refused to drop the knife and then turned to go into his own house. So they opened fire. He was shot in the back. Close friends and family say that he was struck 5 times in the back. Why 5 shots? Why not 1? Why shots to the back, and not to the leg? Isnt the goal to protect people? If so, wouldnt they shoot to immobilize before they shoot to kill? The whole situation just warps my mind. Luke was such a nice guy. I shared a couple classes with him and saw him everyday. We always talked and joked around. He could always make me laugh. Hell, he could make anyone laugh. Especially with this picture:  And if you wanted more of a laugh, just have him explain it in person. Nothing could prepare me for seeing a classmate burried this soon. Luke, may you rest in peace. |

2004.07.24 23.54 Hit Me Like A Brick Wall A couple minutes ago, I got really sad. Why? I realized, that on my 17th birthday (this Friday) I wont see my family or friends. I wont go out to dinner (as is the family tradition). I wont spend the day with my best friends. The only person I get to see is my dad for 1 hour. My parents leave before I get up in the morning. I leave at 1:30 for work, and my dad picks me up at 11. Then I go to bed at about 12 to rest up for the next day, because im working then too. On my birthday party that I've been planning for a month. Happy birthday too me... Mood:  depressed

2004.07.23 23.42 I was high on life, but i built up a tolerance The 8 hour shift wasnt as hard as I thought it would be. Dont get me wrong, my feet hurt like a bitch. I bagged, stocked, took stuff out, rounded up carts, cleaned, and cleaned the bottle room. My god. People have weird shopping patterns. 3.00-5.00 is old person time. 9.30-10.00 is beer run time. 10.45-11.00 is random purchase time. Mainly guys who buy condoms/BC and then a soda to not feel awkward while ringing up. But call me. Oh and guys, my birthday party might be cancelled. |
